Neo Zeon Gelgoog ver.Ph WIP1

Guess what?

New project! :D

Damn i should really finish my other projects......

I had painted the Gelgoog before but it was just an AB practice and i was planning to redo it al along.

Concept: Neo Zeon found an old Gelgoog suit in the space wreckage, seeing that the Gelgoog was in a pretty good state, they decided to reapair it and equip it with their new experimental weapon...

So what i'm planning to do is add those sleeves and chest plate like the neo zeon suits in unicorn, add some detailings and give it some extra weapons.

What i've done already:

Double 0 ver.Ph WIP 3

Finnaly got some time to work on this again.

I scribed some panellines... still getting the hang of scribing...

As you may notice in the pics, I'm trying to mod the foot so that it can bend a bit.

Added some other details too:

Progress ont his will probably slow down abit, because i've decided to start working on my gelgoog, i'll post some WIP later.

If you noticed, yes I changed the name. I didn't really like the sound of PP....

Completed all the widening, now it looks more muscular :D

I won't be  working on this for a while because exmas are coming up and I have to concentrate on studying. I may work a little bit on it, but not so much that it would be worth updating. I will resume working on this after the exams.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow....

It just started snowing the other day here in Belgium!! :D
The snow came suprisingly early this year. It caught everyone off guard this morning, so everyone got stuck in traffic....
The strange thing about snow is, it makes people happy. Even though it's freezing cold....

Anyways, if you were looking for some updates on my 00: I worked a bit on the chest and will probably post some pics soon. But exams start in a few days so I have to study, which means I won't have time for any gunpla.

Double 0 ver.Ph WIP 1

As you may or may not noticed, ver.PP stand for version PhantomPain. It is a kind of name that is used to designate that you have customised the model to your own style.

This is the first time that I'll be simply changing a few design aspects, but trying to keep the overall feel and look.
Not like my Dom where i didn't keep the overall feel and look or my Destiny where I didn't really change alot to the design.

Here goes:

I did most of the mods on one side first, so the difference is visible.

I enlarged the lower red part, in my opinion, the 00 was way too skinny looking. It could be because the desingers were compensating for those ridiculously large addons on the shoulders... But I won't be using those anyway....

Laslty, somethign I've been thinking about:

First I wanted solid blades, but then I realized that i wouldn't want them to stick out all the time, so I went with beam sabers.

Bad habit?

I seem to have started the habit of starting alot of projects and not finishing any of them, something I notice that alot of other modelers do too. I wonder if everyone does it....

Anyways, my new project will be a diorama featuring a 1/144 Tieren and a 1/144 00 Gundam.
The Tieren will be modified to a GN Tieren and the 00 will just get some new weapons and backpack and some aestethic mods. At the moment I'm thinking about a forest as dio, maybe with a small military base...

Exia

A few days ago i suddenly got the urge to finish something, so i decided to paint my HG 1/144 Exia that i had prepped some time ago. The color scheme was because those were the colours i had when i thought of it.

Sadly, due to my rushing and bad judgement the kit didn't turn out exactly the way i  wanted it to. During the painting process, lots of paint would chip of and dust got in the wet paint so it looks all sloppy up close.  But overall, i think it looks OK.

The kit was airbrushed with acrylics and topcoated with future to get the semi-gloss that i wanted (which looks horrible in pictures...)

(somehow the purple came out blue in the pics, so i had to edit them to show purple...)

Finnaly got these parts finished....

All that's left is to add some extra details like scribing and maybe do some clean-up.

Gelgoog Jäger!!!

Painted this kit to practice working with my AB.

I started this build last thursday and rushed it so i could finish it before school starts again (tommorow)

There are some runs and drips but i'm satisfied with the result.

I painted this with cheap acrylics from the hardware store and because of my rushing i didn't bother to topcoat it and there are already alot of scratches on it T_T

I lost the head, but i'll be scratchbuilding a new one and i'll put it on later.

Also, i'm planning to strip the paint and mod it later...
